In my opinion, the more the world becomes connected digitally, the more disconnected the real world becomes socially. From my observations I cannot agree with that stance at all.
Some could argue that as the world becomes more connected, becoming aware of these incidents will increase even though the rate of incidence is not. Over the years I have seen an increase in behaviors which would fall into the category of bullying. Treatment like this causes a lack of self-confidence and in the worst cases, causes the person to withdraw from social interaction altogether. At her young age, this could have devastating and lasting effects for the rest of her life. Recently, a friend’s daughter began having trouble with bullies in school. I am taking you on an exploration of the individual terms and applying them to being human.Īmong other things, being human also means being humane and possessing humanity. Human Beings are the entities which make up the species Homo sapiens.
What does it mean to be a Human Being? For most people, they probably apply the literal terminology without correlation of the meaning of each word that makes up the noun.
